Today...I've been married to the most wonderful man in the world for nine beautiful years.
He's my best friend, the one I run to every time I need a shoulder to cry on, the father of my two gorgeous babies, and the funniest person I know.
He is also the main reason my novel was completed and I even have this blog in the first place.
My husband believes in me. He trusts me. He loves me unconditionally. He thinks I'm pretty even when I don't. He finds a way to make me laugh when I want to cry...and he's the best kisser I've ever had the pleasure to lock lips with.
Without him, my life would be empty. My heart would be a shrunken, hollow shell. My soul would have never found true happiness or peace.
So here's to you, baby! I love you!

Actually, he does sound a lot like my husband, too, but add in the "bull in the china chop" issue, his penchant for bad luck, and they might have been separated at birth. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are looking at our 14th anniversary on August 1st and I wouldn't have missed a moment of it. Well, maybe the part with his witchy ex-wife, but that's about it.
